Tasty Treats
This weekend was all about food. We started out having lunch with our wedding coordinator Ann and my parents. Then it was off to the Bragg-Mitchell to sign the contract and talk with Miss Virginia about vendors. I now have a list of about 50 numbers to call! If anyone in Mobile is looking for wedding help, be sure to give this lady a call. Roger took some photos of the inside of the place. Here are a few; visit the photos section if you want to see more.

Afterwards, Roger and I met with the caterer and tasted several of their specialties. My parents have been keeping quiet most of the time, because they don't want to sway our opinions. However, Dad tried something called a "mini beef wellington" and his response was simply, "Put these on the list." Yep, they're pretty good. :)

We ended the day by checking out Magnolia Grove as a possible rehearsal dinner site (see pics above). This place is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, which is a big deal if you're a golfer. It's really nice and located in my hometown of Semmes. Of course, the search for a rehearsal dinner site is still on...

I love food too, and this food is really good. :) But you can always bring your grill/cooler thing and grill some lamb out on the front porch - in your tux no less!
